How about we get to know each other a little?

Here are the ‘About Me highlights:

Young woman with glasses and striped shirt drinking from a black cup at a cafe table, with a pink smoothie in a jar with a straw in front of her.

If we haven’t met yet—bonjour! I’m Meli.

Daydreamer, travel-lover, and your friendly neighborhood adventure-seeker. I run on coffee, croissants, and curiosity—and I’ve somehow managed to turn that into a pretty great life here in Paris.

Maybe you’ve already booked your flights. Maybe you’re still in the daydreaming phase. Either way, I’d love to help you craft your own Parisian adventure. Think city strolls, photo walks, quirky detours, and hidden corners that don’t always make the guidebooks (but let’s be real, some of the ones that do are worth the hype too).

But there’s more to the story…

2001

Fell head-over-heels for Paris watching Amélie on repeat and imagining what my life would look like if I lived there.

2005

Graduated from the University of Windsor, Canada, with degrees in both English Literature and History.

2007

Déjà vu— I crossed the stage again, this time for my Masters degree in English Literature.

2008

Went to a Bob Dylan concert expecting Like a Rolling Stone— left having met my future husband and partner-in-crime.

2009

We packed up our lives (and our cat) and moved across Canada; ready for a fresh adventure.

2010

He took me to Paris for the very first time and proposed on the Eiffel Tower— I was so excited I nearly sent the ring flying over the edge.

2014

We bought one-way tickets to Dubai, UAE, thinking we’d stay a year. Little did we know…

2023

Nearly ten years and 20 countries later, we moved to Paris— where my knack for sniffing out curiosities, hidden history, and top-notch coffee quickly turned into something more.
