Part walking tour, part pastry fueled adventure, this experience is all about sampling the city’s most irresistible viennoiseries, pâtisseries and café classics, in one of Paris’s most pastry perfect neighbourhoods.
We’ll make our way through this legendary Left Bank neighbourhood, stopping at a handful of cafés and bakeries I actually love and even an elevator shaft that now serves crepes.
At each stop, we’ll try something different: maybe it's a buttery croissant, a seasonal tarte or maybe something that ruins you for all future pain au chocolats. Sorry, not sorry…
Along the way, I’ll share a few bite-sized stories, like how the croissant isn’t actually French (scandalous, right?!), why some pastry shops need an official diploma to call themselves a pâtisserie and how two historic cafes went from rival hangouts to literary institutions.
